I'm a three-time startup entrepreneur, capable of building companies from the ground up. I built my first company in real estate development, commercial asset management and residential sales without raising any capital. I sought distressed properties that needed an aesthetic revamp and better management to attract high quality tenants in an effort to turnaround a struggling downtown area.
In 2018, I became the Director of New Ventures for a tech company in Los Angeles where it was my responsibility to vet new ideas and bring the good ones to life. Several months in, I realized we had a gem with a new idea that could sustain itself as its own company.
I became the first employee and the leader of Nextbite, a company that quickly became the nation’s fastest growing virtual restaurant company. Within 16 months I had grown the company to 15 employees and was on track to hit $10 million in annual revenue. In 2020, the company received a $120 million investment from the SoftBank Vision Fund, eventually taking over the company it was originally funded by.
In mid-2020, my consulting company was born when I realized that small businesses needed help navigating cash flow issues and surviving the financial and operational strain brought on by the pandemic. Within 30 days, I secured 5 clients through cold-outreach emails who were eager to turn things around and were willing to trust my expertise in business management. The partnerships we created became home-runs and many of my clients have become lifelong friends.
